(Nashville, TN. – May 30, 2024) – Americana/Bluegrass/Red Dirt Country Entertainer Jimmy Bowen recently launched Season 8 of Jimmy Bowen & Friends, and today he's announcing the airing of the 100th episode of his TV music series with special guest artist, Grammy-award-winning Americana/country/bluegrass entertainer and tunesmith, Jim Lauderdale.
"It's hard to believe it's been four years since we began this journey and that we are now 100 episodes in! I could not think of of a more perfect artist for this episode which is quite a milestone and something I am very proud of. Jim Lauderdale is such a talented and dynamic entertainer and songwriter, and it was a pleasure to have him on the show. I know everyone will enjoy his music and the opportunity to catch up with him! Hosted by Bowen, the live TV music series consists of thirteen half-hour episodes featuring Bowen performing live with his high-profile band and a weekly featured guest artist. Jimmy Bowen & Friendsis syndicated nationwide and is produced by award-winning production company CJM Productions, whose shows are broadcast in over 200 million homes in the USA as well as the UK and New Zealand. Jimmy Bowen & Friends is filmed live at the Texas Troubadour Theatre, not only a favorite of locals, but a Nashville tourist attraction. Bowen will return to the Texas Troubadour Theatre to film Season 9 from Tuesday, July 9th through Thursday, July 11th.
