(Nashville, TN. – April 5, 2022) – Americana/Bluegrass/Red Dirt Country Entertainer Jimmy Bowen springs forward with Season 4 of Jimmy Bowen & Friends, a live TV music series. The show, hosted by Bowen, consists of thirteen half-hour episodes featuring Bowen performing live with his band and a featured guest artist each week. "I'm so excited to return for Season 4. 'Jimmy Bowen & Friends' is the music variety TV show I always dreamed of hosting, and I'm so proud of what we have accomplished in such a short time. With the outstanding team we have assembled, and the super-talented guests we have lined up, I have every confidence that we will continue to expand our viewership and reputation for quality entertainment with each and every season. Having recently lost our friend and talented hitmaker Jeff Carson to a tragic heart attack, we were blessed to have him as a featured guest on an an upcoming episode. He was an amazing entertainer, person, and friend to so many with so much to share and he will be missed tremendously. Having him on is definitely a highlight of Season 4," Bowen commented.

Jimmy Bowen & Friends was filmed live at Ridenour Rehearsal Studios, a local favorite in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, and the star-spangled lineup includes multiple award-winning artists and songwriters - Ana Cristina Cash, David Starr, Ira Dean, Jeff Carson, Jerry Salley, Jimmy Fortune, Minnie Murphy, Rhonda Vincent, Shane Owens, Steve Dean, Terry McBride, and Wade Hayes.

ABOUT JIMMY BOWEN
Jimmy Bowen is a highly acclaimed musician, singer, and songwriter from Charlotte, N.C. He became involved in music by age 5 and has been creating music for over three decades, touring internationally with some of the most well-known names in Bluegrass music including Charlie Waller and the Country Gentlemen and also David Parmley and the Continental Divide. He has had the opportunity to share the stage with country legends including Earl Thomas Conley, Eddie Raven, John Conley, Josh Turner, Little Jimmy Dickens, and Mel Tillis, and has even had the privilege to perform at the White House for President George W. Bush, Sr. and at the Smithsonian Institute in Washington, D.C. In October of 2019, Bowen was inducted into the National Traditional Country Music Association’s "America’s Old-Time Country Music Hall of Fame."
Another passion of Bowen’s is acting. He has been cast for various television series, dramas, and commercials all while working with some of the biggest names in TV including Michael Rooker (Days of Thunder), Adam Arkin (Chicago Hope), John Hawkes (The Perfect Storm with George Clooney), and Mary Steenburgen (Philadelphia). Bowen was also a featured actor in Toby Keith’s “Hope on the Rocks” video and in the drama-filled ABC-TV hit series Nashville.
Bowen’s last three singles - "Sick & Tired," "Red Line," and “Second Hand Smoke”- made their way up the Texas Country charts and can be found on all streaming platforms and digital outlets.
